Karate Flexibility & Mobility [VIDEO]

Do you want higher kicks, deeper stances and pain-free joints?

I just recorded Karate Flexibility & Mobility: 50 no-nonsense exercises designed to improve your functional flexibility through a range of dynamic mobility drills.

(Click here to watch a free preview.)

These exercises will help you overcome stiff ankles, tight hips, a bad back, sore neck and other physical barriers stopping from fulfilling your potential.

Modern society has made us dysfunctional. Muscular imbalances and stiff joints are a rule these days, not an exception.

Most people think there is nothing they can do about this. They feel stuck.

But as a Karate practitioner, you know better!

Limits are only challenges in disguise, and the human body is capable of amazing feats.

Karate Flexibility & Mobility is divided into two categories:

  • Locomotion (25 exercises across a space)
  • Stationary (25 exercises moving on the spot)

Note: It’s recommended that you combine both approaches.

All exercises are recorded on digital video for easy learning – no matter what age, grade or flexibility level you currently have.

You can download the exercises here.

The exercises are so simple that you can start practicing immediately after watching the video.

However, Karate Flexibility & Mobility does not include any “old-school” static stretching.

Although classic stretching certainly has its time and place, the exercises in Karate Flexibility & Mobility are 100% movement oriented in nature, never static.

Why? Because that’s how you naturally become flexible – through movements that challenge your body’s full joint mobility in all planes of motion.

This is what translates to high kicks, deep stances and smooth movement in the dojo.

(Not sitting in splits for ages!)

So – are you ready to get flexible for real?

Click here to download Karate Flexibility & Mobility.

You are only a few clicks away from transforming your body from a stiff tree to flexible bamboo.

Good luck!

Nice Jesse Sensei! Do the exercises come with usage sugestion? I´d like to know how often should I do them for optimal results!
    • Yes, although not as comprehensive as my resistance training program (Strength Training for Karate), I include advice for incorporating the exercises. When it comes to flexibility, remember this: "if you don't use it you lose it". Good luck!

Everytime, in no matter which dojo I am, when the instructor says it's flexibility training time, all you can here is "oh no!" and "why do we have to do this?". And I don't train with really old people. Even the little kids I'm training hate it. And I can kind of understand it. At the beginning, it hurts and ou don't get big muscles from it. But you need it. Because nobody wants to be unable to walk without pain at 50 or 60. Or earlier. These exercises are really nice, thanks Jesse-san!
  • Hello Jesse I'm a tae Kwon do stylist. I was wondering can you make a video of the application of the I.T.F forms. Can you look at them and show the applications to the techniques.
  • That thing about the bamboo bending... I had a Chinese friend Chris on who I tried to demonstrate a simple throw. Bugger effortlessly countered the throw by bending over backwards into a bridge instead of falling over backwards like I wanted him to. :D Flexibility is really useful...

Hello Sensei Enkamp; Couple years ago I bought your mobility exercise videos and I'd accidentally deleted them including the files. I'm hoping maybe if it's possible you can send me a replacement ones to my email I sent you if not, I understand. Thank you for your time. Sincerely "DK" Daniel Karrat
